New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program

The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) is an immigration program that allows the province of New Brunswick in Canada to nominate individuals who have the skills, qualifications, and work experience required to contribute to the province's economy. Successful nominees can then apply for Canadian permanent residence through the federal government.

Here are the key features of the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP):

1. Streams: The NBPNP consists of several streams that target different categories of individuals. These streams include the Express Entry Labour Market Stream, Skilled Workers with Employer Support Stream, Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream, and Entrepreneurial Stream.

2. Express Entry Labour Market Stream: This stream is aligned with the federal Express Entry system and is designed for skilled workers who have a profile in the Express Entry pool. Candidates with a connection to New Brunswick and who meet the eligibility criteria may receive a provincial nomination, which can significantly enhance their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence.

3. Skilled Workers with Employer Support Stream: This stream is for skilled workers who have received a full-time, permanent job offer from a New Brunswick employer. It is divided into three categories: Skilled Worker Applicants, Long-haul Truck Driver Applicants, and International Graduate Applicants.

4. Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream: This stream is designed for graduates who have completed a program of at least two years of full-time study at a recognized New Brunswick post-secondary institution. It allows eligible graduates to start or acquire a business in the province and receive support for their entrepreneurial endeavors.

5. Entrepreneurial Stream: This stream is for individuals who wish to start, purchase, or become partners in a business in New Brunswick. Applicants are assessed based on factors such as business experience, personal net worth, investment, and job creation potential. Successful applicants are initially granted a temporary work permit and, upon fulfilling the terms of their business performance agreement, can apply for permanent residence.

6. Eligibility requirements: Each stream of the NBPNP has specific eligibility requirements, which may include factors such as language proficiency, education, work experience, connection to New Brunswick, and financial capacity.

7. Nomination and application process: Once nominated by New Brunswick, candidates can apply for permanent residence to the federal government through the Provincial Nominee Program stream. If the federal government approves the application, the candidate and their eligible family members can become permanent residents of Canada.
